Conditions of Participation in Visit Morocco prize draw

Promoter and Participants

1. The Promoter is Secret Escapes Ltd, (registered in the commercial register for England and Wales under number 07026107) 120 Holborn, London, EC1N 2TD (the “Promoter”).
2. All entrants (“Participants”) must be Great Britain and Northern Ireland residents aged 18 or over.
3. Employees of Secret Escapes, their affiliated companies, their families, agents and other parties directly involved with this promotion and the sponsorship are not eligible to enter.
4. Only one entry per person is permitted in the competition.
5. Participation in the prize draw is free of charge and independent of the purchase of goods or services.
6. By entering this prize draw, all participants are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions unless notified otherwise in writing.
7. Secret Escapes reserves the right to exclude participants from the competition if these conditions of participation are violated. If necessary, the prize will be subsequently cancelled and reclaimed.

Participation at the Prize Draw

1. To enter this prize draw, Participants are asked to fill out a short questionnaire at the Promoter’s website (https://mp.secretescapes.com/uk/2025/morocco/) providing the information about their name and e-mail address.
2. The prize draw starts at 09:00 UK time on [16/04/2025] (“Entry Date“) and ends at 23:59 UK time on [31/10/2025] (“Close Date“) All entries must be received between the Entry Date and the Close Date.
3. Incomplete, invalid or inappropriate entries, or entries received after the closing date will not be eligible to win.

Data Protection and Usage of Data

1. Participants agree to be contacted by the Promoter for the purposes of administering the prize draw. The identification and contact details collected as part of this campaign, such as first and last names, as well as the e-mail address provided will be processed exclusively for the purpose of organising and running the prize draw. The data will be deleted after the prize draw has been carried out and statutory retention periods have been fulfilled.
2. All data processing is carried out in accordance with the description in Secret Escapes' privacy policy. You can view this at any time at www.secretescapes.com/privacy-policy.
3. The Promoter reserves the right to publish name, town and county of the winner or to publicise any prize giving presentation after the date of the draw. If the Winner does not wish such details to be published, they must advise the Promoter at time of being notified that he/she has won.
4. Where you opt-in to receive marketing communications from Visit Morocco by providing them with your details when you entered this competition, you will receive such communications from Visit Morocco about their products and services. Visit Morocco will hold your personal data in accordance with the terms of its privacy policy. The Prize and the Draw

1. The Winner will be drawn at random at the end of the prize draw by Secret Escapes from all submissions received between the Entry Date and the Close Date. (“Winner“).
2. The Winner will be contacted via email by Secret Escapes to the Winner’s email address with the next steps of how to claim the Prize.
3. The Prize available will consist of the following:

   The Winner will be awarded

   • A 5 night package holiday to Marrakech to coastal Essaouira and the Agafay Desert for two guests, staying in a standard room.

   Itinerary Overview:

   Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech

   Day 2: Marrakech (free day at leisure)

   Day 3: Transfer to Essaouira via Domaine du Val d’Argan (lunch and wine tasting included)

   Day 4: Essaouira (free day with optional cooking workshop)

   Day 5: Transfer to Agafay Desert (with optional camel ride and dinner under the stars)

   Day 6: Departure from Marrakech

   Inclusions:

   • Airport/hotel/airport transfers
   • Transfers between Marrakech, Essaouira, and Agafay in a private vehicle
   • Accommodation according to room category and number of nights selected at booking
   • Meals as per the programme
   • Guided city tour of Marrakech
   • Dinner with show in the Agafay Desert
   • Lunch and wine tasting at Domaine du Val d’Argan
   • Camel ride in Agafay
   • Services of an experienced driver
   • 24/7 telephone assistance in Morocco during the stay
4. The Hotel stay is subject to availability and the Black-out dates. These include 20/12/2025 - 18/01/2026. Travel window until 31/10/2026.
5. In the event of circumstances beyond our control the Promoter is not responsible for delays in travel.
6. The Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be substituted for the Prizes on offer. In the event that the Prizes offered are unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, the Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative Prize of equal or greater value.
7. The Winner must claim the Prize no later than 7 days after the Winner has been informed.
8. If the winner rejects or fails to claim the Prize on time in accordance with §4.7 the Prize may be awarded to other Participants at the absolute and sole discretion of the promoter.

§ 5 Disclaimer

1. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to honour any entry or to recover the full value of any Prize if it considers there has been an abuse or breach of the terms and conditions of this Promotion.
2. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature however caused, sustained by any Participant under this promotion. However, nothing in these rules shall have the effect of excluding or restricting the Promoter’s liability for personal injury or death caused by the proven negligence of its employees or contractors.
3. In the event of a dispute over interpretation or implementation of the rules on any matter related to the prize draw, the decision of the directors of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
4. Although the Promotion may be featured on [Facebook and Instagram], this Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with [Facebook and Instagram]. By entering this Promotion, all Participants release [Facebook and Instagram] from any liability arising out of this Promotion. Participants are providing information to the Promoter and not to Facebook and Instagram]. The information Participants provide will only be used for the purposes referred to in these terms and conditions.

§ 6 Final Provisions

1. Legal recourse is excluded.
2. Secret Escapes reserves the right to terminate the competition at any time without prior notice if, for technical or legal reasons, proper implementation cannot be guaranteed.
3. The Participant is free to cancel his/her participation in the competition at any time. Should any of these provisions be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining terms and conditions of use.
